So the reason I’ve been quiet lately…

Is for a reason that I’m not ready to discuss yet. I’m trying to remain positive about the whole situation but for sake of keeping sane, I’ve told some people. I am looking to get inspired to do something radical and “not me like”. I’m organizing some trips and events:

  • Road trip down Highway 1 and end up in San Diego/Tijuana
  • Go to Opening Day at AT&T Park (April 7th) 1:05pm
  • Visit family in Texas
  • Go to Phoenix to attend the Subway 500 with my friends at the Jimmie Johnson Foundation
  • Fly to NYC to see the new Yankee Stadium and visit my friend (and occasional therapist)

I’ll post more information on March 4th.

Its late, but I just want to say that I’m pretty excited that my Dad is coming to San Francisco today (Thursday) to participate in a panel discussion for the Bay Area premiere of the documentary A Class Apart. This documentary was filmed by Carlos Sandavol, who ‘s film FARMINGVILLE won the special jury prize at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. The documentary was supported in part by my father’s upcoming book “White But Not Equal”. (He was on the advisory board for the movie). So they’re showing it at the Embarcadero Center tonight (Thursday, February 12th)

The movie premiers on PBS on February 23rd. Hopefully you can check it out! And the book is available on Amazon. Order it here.

Because of this event, I won’t be able to attend Twestival. But I hope you can find a way to support it, as its a really special event. You can find out more info on the website (linked above) or on my blog post on What Gives!?
